Idyllic and multifaceted: that’s studying at the University of Salzburg

At the beginning of your studies, there’ll be a lot of questions that come to mind. How do I register for my studies? What does STEOP, VO, PS and SE mean? What is PLUSonline? How on earth will I find this lecture hall? As intimidating as this new chapter in your life may seem at the beginning, you’ll soon get into a routine and becomed fully immersed in the multifaceted, exciting but also challenging world of studying.

What do you find the most fascinating about your degree programme or subject area? What moments or experiences stand out for you? Would you like to tell us about an excursion, about your most embarrassing moment during your studies or an exciting story from your department? Share your stories with us and your fellow students. Influence of regions in Europe on the European Union

In the seminar “Europe beyond Brussels”, students are taking a closer look at the influence of European regions on EU decisions. This time, students talked to Prof. Dr. Franz Schausberger. He was governor (Landeshauptmann) of the Land Salzburg between 1996 and 2004. He also co-founded the Institute of the Regions of Europe in Salzburg and represents Salzburg at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels.
